I get lots of questions about my Rotary Phase Converter and how I use it in my shop to make three phase power from my single phase. Like many home shops, I don't have access to three phase power off of the power pole and I have to make my own. While there are several ways to do this, including VFD's and Static Phase Converters, I believe that in most cases, the Rotary Phase Converter is the best way to accomplish the task.
