In this video we travel "Doon the Watter" for a trip to the Isle of Bute in our self build Campervan.

We drive down the Firth of Clyde to Wemyss Bay and catch a Calmac ferry to Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. We explore the Isle of Bute before getting a return ferry from Rhubodach to Colintraive.

We are David & Ami, a Scottish couple who have been travelling and exploring together for many years enjoying all kinds of travel, from hotels, to camping, caravanning, car camping and now a Campervan.

Our Campervan journey began in 2016 when we purchased a second hand delivery van, a Citroen Relay 2.2 H2 L3. We converted the van on the driveway at home, although self-builds are always work in progress...

We love Scotland and the outdoors, and our Campervan takes us to all of the places where we can enjoy hillwalking, skiing, paddle boarding, cycling and spending time. Our Campervan is fully equipped for off grid living all year round, although we do also stay in campsites. We have busy lives, and van life is our escape for the odd night, weekend or longer break whenever possible.
