Supplies
Watercolor Paint (simple 8 color set)
Watercolor paper (canson XL, 140 lb (300 gsm) cold press
Watercolor paintbrushes (Round #8, Flat 3/4")
Water in container
Paper towel
Scratch piece of paper
Pencil and eraser
Masking tape is optional;)
To Simplify this
Draw less Petals and leaves
Use one color to shade
Extensions
Try drawing and painting a peony that is more closed and round
Paint a pink peony
Experiment with backgrounds
This technique could be used to paint roses as well
