Описание: I hope you enjoy this beautiful worship song / hymn medley of “As The Deer & Gentle Shepherd". This week I was planning on singing “As The Deer”. I taught this song to an adult piano student of mine, Rita. She became a dear friend and we recently started texting again and I thought I would record it for her because I know it is one of her favorite songs. I had two dear friends Joyce and Chuck mention another song “Gentle Shepherd” to me - so as I went to record this yesterday I decided to medley them together. As I was singing the words of “Gentle Shepherd” I was reminded to always listen to the voice of our gentle shepherd!

He is always leading and guiding us. When I met Rita my piano student, she had invited me to Alpha (this is about 8 years ago). I was already a Christian but decided to go anyway! She introduced me to Daryl Bennett, an incredible drummer and GRAMMY nominated producer and she said, "You should meet him, he’s a musician"! Rita is a brilliant connector of people! Well Daryl and I had a great time chatting and ended up meeting for coffee and deciding to record an album together! As we were recording one day, his son came down the stairs and who was it? Eli Bennett! Later Eli would become my husband :)

Sometimes we don’t know why we feel a nudge to go do something but if we are open and listen to God’s voice God will lead us exactly where we need to go. I’m sure glad I went to Alpha with Rita! Best decision I ever made! ❤️
