First(ish) Drive In My JDM EP3 Civic Type R!

Описание: Hello guys, and welcome back to Car Obsession. So, here it is, my first(isg) drive in my JDM EP3 Civic Type R! This is my new car to replace my SEAT Ibiza FR, which I sold a few weeks ago, and it was a complete surprise as my wife, and fellow YouTuber PocketRockets were enlisted by myself to pick my next car for me.

The JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) EP3 is so much more than just a lick of white paint and white alloys. It has the same engine (K20A) and gearbox as the DC5 Integra Type R, meaning it has a little more power than the UK version (215hp compared to 200). This means it's 0.2 seconds faster to 60 than the UK version (6.4 seconds versus 6.6).

On top of that, the JDM model is a bit more rev happy with a more noticeable kick in to VTEC, and the rev limiter goes a little bit higher as well. Another important aspect of the JDM is that it gets a limited slip differential, which the UK model didn't get.

The funny thing is, this is an imported car, but it was originally made in the UK!
