🛫 The Journey Begins

My trip kicks off with a 4:00 PM flight from East Midlands Airport, a route that takes roughly 1 hour and 40 minutes. By the time we land, it's dark, cold, and raining, setting a classic European wintery vibe.
🚖 Airport Transfers – Spot On

I had pre-booked a private airport transfer, and I'm happy to say it was seamless. The driver was already waiting at arrivals as I came through passport control, and within 20 minutes I was at my hotel. For anyone visiting Prague, I can highly recommend doing the same—it takes the hassle out of the equation completely.
🏨 Hotel Belvedere – Executive Surprise

For this trip, I chose to stay at Hotel Belvedere, a central hotel with over 2,000 guest reviews. I figured it was worth checking out.

On arrival, the staff were incredibly welcoming, and I was delighted to find they had upgraded me to the executive floor—no extra cost. And let me tell you, for a hotel in the heart of Europe, this room was absolutely massive! 🛌

From a plush dressing gown and slippers, to a huge bathroom fully stocked with toiletries, the attention to detail was spot on. The bed was super comfortable, and there was even a safe in the room, though surprisingly, it was unusually large!
🍽️ Breakfast – Busy but Basic

The breakfast experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The breakfast room got very full, very quickly, and I ended up having to sit upstairs. That meant quite a bit of walking up and down to get any food or drinks. The selection was pretty standard, nothing that stood out—but it did the job for a short stay.
♿ Accessibility & Amenities

On the downside, disabled access isn’t great. The lifts are small, and maneuvering around the hotel could be tricky for those with mobility issues.

In terms of amenities, this hotel is quite basic. It's perfect if you're staying for a night or two and want somewhere clean, central, and reliable—but if you're looking for luxury or extended comfort, it might not be the one for you.
