QUICK UPDATE:
I was saying in the video that I could not get the radio programed in channel mode since it was changing my frequency step. For that reason using it in frequency mode did allowed me to change the frequency step as I wanted, but I had no idea what was on that frequency I just programed. Well... it turns out that all I had to do was to change the settings in the menu to display names not frequency. It only took me a few months to figure this out. What a shame right ? The radio its been siting in the cabinet above my desk as I had no clue how to fix that issue. Now on the other hand, I am so happy with the radio and the quality, that it became my main hand held transceiver for 2m / 70cm, especially for the satellites. I just love it.
