The use of Performance Based Wind Design has been on the rise in the United States since the release of the ASCE/SEI pre-standard in 2019. With several buildings under construction and in design, much has been learned about the design process and tall building response to wind loading. The presentation includes case studies of completed and ongoing designs using PBWD on tall concrete buildings.
