Today’s ride might be the most dangerous road I’ve ever taken on a motorbike.
I leave Gumda and climb toward Singla Gaun on a narrow, exposed mountain track carved into the cliffs of rural Nepal. Loose gravel, sheer drops, blind corners — this is the kind of road that demands full focus from start to finish.
After reaching Singla, I slow things down and explore the village properly. Walking through the fields, seeing traditional local farming methods, visiting the village’s Buddhist temple, and sitting down to chat with locals about life in this remote mountain community.
These are the places that don’t make it into guidebooks. No traffic. No tourists. Just raw Himalayan life.
This ride tested my nerves — but the welcome in Singla reminded me exactly why I love exploring Nepal by motorbike.
