Juan José was my tango teacher for many years - an incredible pedagogue and he really changed my musical life, opening up the amazing world of tango music to me. I invited him to perform at the Flipside Festival in 2015, and he invited me to play a duo with him! He would carry you along on a powerful musical wave in a way few musicians can, so it remains a precious memory for me. Luckily a friend was in the crowd and managed to film some of it!
