Romeo is one of the most famous MGs that ever left the Abingdon factory. Alongside its stablemate, Mabel, Romeo, named after the first three letters of its registration number, was built to take part in long distance races in the late 1960s and was sold after the 1969 Sebring 12 hour race.
Luckily, the car was eventually brought back to the UK and we managed to track the car down to relive the car’s track heritage at Castle Combe circuit in Wiltshire.
