[ABA Tutorial] Teach Children with ASD to Self-Monitor [ABA教學] 訓練自閉症兒童自我監控

My child is now 6 years old and is diagnosed with ASD. We use ABA token economy with him at home, however, he doesn’t understand how to self-monitor himself. He needs more approval for everything he does. How can I teach him to be more independent?

Autism Partnership Director, Mr Toby Mountjoy who's been working with children with autism for over 25 years is answering this question.

Mr. Toby Mountjoy is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and holds a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis. Besides working with individuals with ASD, he has also provided consultations to school districts, agencies, and families worldwide. Besides overseeing the Autism Partnership operation in Hong Kong, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Kuwait and Beijing, he also founded the charitable Autism Partnership Foundation and Aoi Pui School since 2007 to offer more services for children with Autism.

教導孩子去監控自己的行為是一件很好很好的事。這代表孩子不需要倚賴別人去監督他們，監視著他們在幹什麼，以及給予獎勵。這是一個比較進階的課程。
