This beautiful track from Chris Stapleton uses the classic drop D tuning system and has an incredibly full sound. We will be picking through a lot of individual notes to get this song correct, but it's very well worth it if you love acoustic guitar and want to advance your skills. Firstly, we will be tuning the low E string to a D string (which we call drop D tuning). We then add the capo to the second fret. From there, we are using basic Drop D style chords with some cool little melody lines (that Simone walks through clearly in the video). Here are those main chords that we use: (see website)
