Homemade Scotch Eggs

Описание: Scotch eggs are a super popular snack here in the UK! Essentially an egg encased in flavoured meat and encased in breadcrumbs. Typically you'd buy them in the shops with a firm egg centre like a hard boiled egg, it's easier for storing this way, but in my opinion the tastier version is with a runny yolk which is a fair challenge to achieve - but a fun one! Hope you enjoy this recipe and give them a go!

Ingredients
5 medium eggs
500g lean pork mince
2tsp fresh thyme leaves, chopped
4 sage leaves, chopped fine
1btsp english mustard
1/2tsp ground nutmeg or mace
2 tbsp plain flour
2 slices bread / approx. 80g whizzed into breadcrumbs
