Creating dashboards is an artform. You're not just taking data and creating visualizations then building a dashboard haphazardly. Your goal is to give the best viewing experience to your audience without overwhelming them with too much information, or having ambiguity, or creating confusion.

Sometimes you want to go about thing in a minimalistic fashion by only showing what the reader needs to know at that exact moment. But you also want the ability that depending on how they interact with your visualization to give more information.

We can cleverly do this via the tooltip by embedding another visualization inside. Its actually a very easy thing to do and this video I'll show you how to do just that.
