The Lviv Media Forum 2023 featured researchers and communication specialists who have experienced the impact of Russian aggression on the societies of their countries and witnessed its consequences. They discussed the concept of the post-Soviet space and explored ways to emerge from it unharmed.
Speakers:
Botakoz Kassymbekova — Associate Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Basel, specializing in Russian and Soviet imperial history, Stalinism, and post-Stalinism.
Nino Robakidze — Director of IREX in Georgia, working at the European Center «IREX SAFE Initiative« for over 15 years, researching, managing, and promoting media.
Alexandra Volneanschi — Journalist with 10 years of experience covering human rights violations in Moldova, currently working for the NGO «Media & Human Rights».
Alina Rudina - journalist, Belarus Press Club member.
Moderator: Liubov Tsibulska, Head of the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security at the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy.
