This walk begins in Glenridding where you can catch a boat provided by Ullswater Steamers to Howtown that runs several times a day all year for £10.
The walk is up to you from here with the main goal of heading back to Patterdale & Glenridding.
Hallin Fell is adjacent to the dock of Howtown with easy access before descending and climbing the optional fell of Steel Knotts before once again descending to road level before the long ridge walk of Beda Fell.. Angletarn Pikes and Brock Crags are short distances from the end of the ridge with stunning views down on to Angle Tarn itself, before looping back on the excellent path towards Place Fell and down into Patterdale to complete the round.
