Описание: New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani says the city is fully prepared to tackle the major winter storm expected to bring snow and hazardous travel conditions on Sunday. Mamdani said the Sanitation Department is brining highways and major streets, with 700 salt spreaders and 2,300 plow vehicles ready to be deployed as conditions worsen. He said all city agencies are on alert and coordinating their response. Agencies including the FDNY, DSNY, NYCHA, the MTA and the Parks Department have added extra staff to handle potential emergencies. He said emergency vehicles will be able to respond to all 911 calls in a timely manner, regardless of snowfall.
