Here, Edward is winning a bet and proving a point. Even if a threat or target is 100 to 200 yards out... you can still engage it with full lethality... silently... ESPECIALLY with what some might call... "a wimpy little .22 rifle." Now... YOU might not think that a .22 round (at two hundred or three hundred yards out) would be lethal... or even powerful... but consider this: It is still impacting with the velocity and foot-pounds of kinetic energy comparable to a .32 or .380 auto... with MUCH better penetration and wound-channel. That is something you cannot ignore. Add to that, that you can achieve a head-shot... completely silently... Now that IS impressive. So, when YOU can shoot a coyote in the head from 450 yards away... and kill it... and the other dogs don't run away because they don't even know what happened... we will listen to YOU. But, until then... maybe you should listen to us. And, after seeing this, and hearing the force with which that bullet impacts the steel target... if you still want to insist that: (A) "You can't hit something that far away with a .22" and (B) "Even if you did hit it, a .22 round wouldn't do any damage that far away" then why don't YOU go stand out there 200... 300... heck... I'll let you go stand out there 500 yards away and we'll just see what happens when I shoot at you. Now, I shot this test offhand. You can hear on the camera's microphone just how windy it was that day... Imagine if conditions were optimal and I could prone out and use the bi-pod. For the record, Donnie, the other guy you hear talking just off camera... did the EXACT same drill and had NO problem hitting either target... and he had never even shot that rifle or scope ever before.
