Die Strecke von Ponte de Lima nach Rubiaes ist sicherlich die schwierigste Etappe des gesamten Weges von Porto nach Santiago de Compostela. Der Weg führt zunächst leicht bergauf, dann etwas steiler und schliesslich gibt es ein Teilstück nach dem Cruz dos Franceses, wo es extrem steil wird auf einem felsigen Steig bevor es schliesslich wieder bergab geht auf einem Schotterweg nach Rubiaes. Etwa 400 Höhenmeter geht diese Strecke bergauf und danach wieder 200m bergab.
Ponte de Lima - Arcozelo - Labruja - Bandeira - Cruz dos Franceses / Cruz dos Mortos - Cabanas - Agualonga - Sao Roque - Rubiaes

The path from Ponte de Lima to Rubiaes is certainly the most exhausting part of the whole Caminho from Porto to Santiago de Compostela. It starts with a gentle walk uphill, it is getting a bit steeper step by step and finally there is a path with big rocks that you have to walk and climb over. You have to walk 400m upwards on hight and 200m downwards.
You will walk through Ponte de Lima - Arcozelo - Labruja - Bandeira - Cruz dos Franceses / Cruz dos Mortos - Cabanas - Agualonga - Sao Roque - Rubiaes
