A day out birding at Shapwick Heath and Ham Wall - two of the nature reserves in the Avalon Marshes, Somerset. The day got off to a great start with the sighting of an Osprey on Noah’s Lake at Shapwick Heath. After a morning exploring this beautiful national nature reserve, I spent the afternoon at RSPB Ham Wall where a close-up view of a Great White Egret from the Tor View Hide was one of many highlights. Filmed in late August 2018.
