Through rare archival footage, original art, and new interviews, the film explores Franklin’s creative journey and his role in shaping Austin’s identity as a haven for musicians, painters, and dreamers.

Premiering at the Austin Film Festival ‪@AustinFilmFestival‬ 2025, Armadillo Man is a portrait of art, music, and a city that still carries the spirit of the Armadillo.
