We stayed in Laramie, Wyoming, at a Walmart parking lot, because it was a great staging spot to get to our next campground that was a first come, first serve about an hour away. Sugarloaf Campgroud has 16 sites and is only open for about 6 weeks out of the year because of snowfall in the mountains of Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest.

Corey shared that when we park for the night with the truck still attached, we lower the front jack to take some of the weight off the truck which makes the RV a bit more stable.

In order to drone our trip driving through the mountains and up into our campground to see if there was a spot open for us, Jess drove and ended up backing into a campsite for the very first time! We lucked out and got the last site in the campground!

We got set up and enjoyed a cappuccino powered by our Lion Energy batteries and our Furrion Solar panels. Boondocking is so much quieter these days without the generator.

After a thunderstorm with some minor hail, a rainbow came out right over the rig. We took a little drive after a delicious dinner of salad and filets on the Blackstone and immedately found a male and female moose right outside of our campground enjoying their dinner.

Mirror Lake definitely lived up to its name, and Corey found a perfect location for some Milky Way photography! He also lays down a challenge to Jess and the girls for the next morning!
