When most historians recount the events that led to America's independence, they focus on the Battle of Lexington and Concord as the beginning of the revolution. But did you know, there was a revolt the year before? On September 6, 1774, more than 4,000 militiamen carried out what may have been the true first stand for America's independence.
Join the Townsend Co. 6th Middlesex Regiment and the MASSAR Colonel Henry Knox Color Guard as they tell the story of the Worcester Rebellion of 1774.
