Oxy-Dry Rotowash my own carpet.

Описание: My 2 newest Pups have been making a mess of my carpet in a couple of areas so I decided to do a hot water flush and extract on these 2 areas a few days ago. As expected these areas wicked up a urine stain so it was time to address this and It was good test for the Rotowash. The stains came out easily with a couple of passes and overall the carpet looked very good. I did however find it felt quite wet, more so than when I clean with my Rotary and surprisingly it extracted very little water unlike its recovery on hard surfaces that is surprisingly effective. There was a fair amount of fibre collected but little dirty water in the tray. I cleaned the living room and the hall but decided to run over both areas wit a dry Ironman pad using my Rotary but I did not record that step. The pad was quite soiled from the living room in particular indicating the Rotowash had left this visible soil in the carpet but the pad easily removed it. I groomed the carpet after and it looked perfect and dried within 2 hours but I did have the ceiling fan on. I know that some use Rotowash for residential carpet cleaning but due to its clumsiness and because it does not extract much actual soil and leaves the carpet considerably wetter than my Rotary system I will not be using it for that purpose. My intention is to use it primarily for wood floor cleaning and perhaps for some commercial carpet jobs where it is better suited.
