For the Delicious Fairy Cakes. Fairy cakes are great at children’s parties, baby showers, for wedding favours depending on how creative you can make them😃.

Today’s recipe is very delicious with this recipe I’ve put together. Cakes come up still moist after baking. Though fairy cakes are inexpensive, they’re even cheaper to make at home and they’re many times better than the shop bought ones; Because you can have them freshly made each time without a lot of preservatives. They children can get involved and have a fun experience baking.

Find the full ingredients list below:

110g butter, at room temperature
110g caster sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 medium eggs, at room temperature
110g self raising flour
A pinch of salt

Bake at 160 degrees Celsius in a fan oven for 20 minutes.
Cool completely before adding fillings!

For the filling:

Raspberry or strawberry jam
1/2 cup double cream
Dust of icing sugar

Extra: You may sweeten your double cream with a bit of icing sugar and vanilla icing for a richer and amazing taste.
