I landed in Sousse feelin’ fresh and almost got scammed for a Kameez before making a new friend in the Medina. In this Part 2 mini-vlog, I head to the Ribat of Sousse – a 1,200-year-old fortress that had my legs in pain and my brain spinning with the history lesson I never asked for.

Built in 821 AD, the Ribat ain’t no jail (despite what man told me in Part 1) – it’s a full-on military fortress where soldiers used to post up and prep for war. Just next door? The Great Mosque of Sousse, built in 850 AD, where spiritual defence met physical defence in the same shift. Mad, right?

In this vlog, I:

• Break down why it’s NOT actually a jail (but still kinda is if you’re built like me)
