Описание: This video (the first of three) was filmed at the 29th Calne Model Railway Exhibition organised by Bentley MRG at Calne Leisure Centre on 11th May 2025. This was the clubs largest exhibition to date and there were a total of 17 varied layouts along with trade stands. This video features four layouts and starts with the host club's latest OO scale model, Kannotburn. It is based on on the Scottish West Highland line, circa 1970 and features both steam and diesel traction. This is followed by another OO gauge layout, Southbrook Park by Shane Wilton and Mark Miller. It is inspired by the South Western section of the old Southern region new Kew Bridge/Brentford in South-West London. Trains from the Piccadilly Line of the London Underground are also featured. The Royal Albert Bridge in N gauge was the contribution of Basingstoke & North Hants MRS. This famous bridge was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and it spans the River Tamar on the Devon / Cornwall border near Plymouth in South West England. Two time periods can be operated, 1956 - 1961 for steam hauled and 1968 - 1973 with early livery BR Diesels. The fourth layout is Mynydd y Draig (Dragon Mountain) by Alan Monk and uses OO9 track. It is based on Devil's Bridge, the upper terminus of the Vale of Rheidol narrow gauge railway in mid-Wales in the 1970's when the line was operated by British Rail.
