Way back in the year 2000, I was granted media credentials for the Vans Warped Tour stop in Houston on August 3, 2000 at the Houston AstroArena. In some of the outside shots, you can see Astroworld in the background.
I wasn’t allowed to film any bands aside from the local stage, so there isn’t a whole lot of footage of that. More than half of this video is made up of interviews I did.
I used a a camera from the local cable access station. I believe this was shot in Hi8 and recently converted and upscale to 4K. I could not adjust the audio, so the interviews at the end may be hard to hear.
