If you value genuine individuality, you may well have found your perfect musical partner. Just like every musician, every Blood Moon guitar is different. It will have its own distinct figuring: some will have straight, pronounced vertical grains; some will have horizontal 'flaming'; and some may even have a combination of the two. But, as our workshops only use the finest, solid Javanese Trembesi tonewood to make these incredible instruments, the sound will always be warm and balanced.

Trembesi wood has long been sought after by furniture manufacturers for its magnificent beauty and stunning variety of patterns, but we've more recently been persuaded of its tonal capabilities too. A good Trembesi instrument, like Hawaiian Koa, behaves similarly to Mahogany, offering warmth and balance throughout the strings but with the addition of a little more sparkle at the high-end.

Amplifying your Blood Moon is simple thanks to the Fishman INK3 preamp and sonicore pickup system. The undersaddle piezo pickup is controlled by a side-mounted, flush-fitting preamp with 3 band EQ and a built-in tuner. The output socket is mounted into the end of the guitar with an ingeniously integrated battery box and separate strap button.
