From the EU AI Act to the U.S. SB53 and RAISE Acts, Brazil’s AI Bill, and the UK’s AI Bill, this panel examines both their commonalities and differences. It explores shared trends, including incident reporting, prohibitions, and enforcement mechanisms, alongside divergent approaches. The discussion also considers how multilateral institutions can support coordination across jurisdictions, particularly for cross-border risks, and identifies opportunities to strengthen international alignment in 2026 and beyond.
