PERIODONTICS

Healthy gums mean healthy teeth and periodontics involves the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gum disease.

Treatment of periodontitis can prevent tooth loss from the condition but it requires working with your dental hygienist to maintain an oral hygiene routine at home to defend against it. With meticulous cleaning and a determination to keep plaque at bay, the condition can be stabilised.
