Pastor Doug Riggs, Morning Star Testimony Church in Syracuse, NY, 2/26/2020 presented this message to expose the error of the Hebrew Roots Movement popular in the Church - a resurgence of that which the Apostle Paul dealt with when he wrote the Letter to the Galatians, and the unnamed Apostle wrote the Letter to the Hebrews. As legalistic Pharisees were hounding Gentile Christians to observe 'Jewish Roots' - observing the Jewish holy days and Jewish dietary law - the Apostle Paul was very clear in how to correct this heresy. As for Hebrew Christians hanging on to their 'Jewish Roots' and continuing to worship in the temple, the Word of God specifically warned them to change course, or face the coming devastation when the Temple would be destroyed and tens of thousands of people would be killed.

There is soon coming another 'fiery ordeal' (1 Peter 4:12) as God brings judgment ON THE CHURCH - PRIOR to His judgment on Israel and the Nations:

"See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven.

"And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “YET ONCE MORE I WILL SHAKE NOT ONLY THE EARTH, BUT ALSO THE HEAVEN.”

Hebrews 12:25-26

Roly and Amanda Buys of Kanaan Ministries (SA) recently sent out a notice they would no longer have fellowship with Doug and Lori Riggs, along with the ministry outreach of Morning Star Testimony Church (US) because of this issue:

"We declare that we separate and distance ourselves completely from Doug and Lori Riggs and Morning Star Ministry on all levels and dimensions of the spirit."

The response from Doug: Though we can endorse our combined ministry with Kanaan Ministries over the last seven years, we cannot endorse their recent departure to utilizing New Age "scientific" techniques now employed by them which we believe to be detrimental to the healing process (see Deuteronomy 18:10-11)
