The young woman who confessed to plotting the brutal murder of her family in Mmakau, near Brits in the North West, in 2016, took the stand in the Pretoria High Court.
The 22-year-old painted a grim picture of drug addiction that apparently started 4 years after her family was murdered.
She told the court that the drugs caused her to hallucinate at the time of her confession in 2021, about plotting her family's brutal murders.
She was arrested in September of the same year when she admitted to planning the murders of her relatives.
This after she allegedly stole her father's firearm and handed it to two friends, 19-year-old- Kagiso Mokone and Tumelo Mokone who allegedly carried out the murders.
