Описание: Some iconic food establishments become icons because of food innovation, a new combination of flavors that people love. Some become icons because they make everything just plain tasty. And some because they’re in the perfect location or they’ve just been around forever.

A select few icons are all of those! Maurie and Flaurie Berman took on a seasonal snack shop-for-college-cashflow endeavor and wound up the famous creators of one of Chicago’s best-known and beloved dog houses, Superdawg! Eschewing the full ingredients list of the Chicago Dog, they blazed their own trail with a heavier, plumper, tastier wiener made from their own recipe, topped with more savory condiments! Then they topped their building with super Maurie- and Flaurie-dawg effigies to let people stopping by know that their next meal was going to be something special!
