Runescape Firemaking Guide - Double-Line

This video shows how to do the Double-Line technique, which rewards faster Firemaking experience in Runescape. This technique doesn't necessarily have to be done at the Grand Exchange, although this is a very convenient place to do it.

This technique is faster than regular firemaking because there is no travel time between bank visits. This reduces the amount of time wasted, and in turn increases experience per hour.

This technique requires significantly more concentration and active engagement than regular firemaking, so this may not be in your best interest if you plan on lazily firemaking. This guide is just to show this method, and how it can be done in order to increase experience rates.

Double-Line Firemaking requires quite a bit of experience in order to get the hang of it. Being on a world with low lag is very important. Generally, worlds with a low population indicate low lag.

I achieved these results while burning Maple Logs (from previous video):
Regular Firemaking at Grand Exchange: 154k xp per hour
Double-Line Firemaking at Grand Exchange: 176k xp per hour
This is a difference of 22k xp per hour, or 14.2% more experience.

In this video; Flame Gloves, Ring of Fire and Penance Horn are used. Using this method, I was able to achieve these results:
Starting Experience: 8,113,074
Final Experience: 8,494,089
Experience Gain: 381,015
Time Spent: 1hr 50sec
Experience Per Hour: 375,796

Removing the bonuses of the Horn, Ring and Gloves, this equates to 183k xp per hour.
