On the sacred occasion of Shivaratri, we offer this humble veena–piano duet of "Chandrachooda Shiva Shankara Parvathi” composed by the great saint Purandara Dasa.
I have tried it with my standing style Veena. With the veena rooted in the Carnatic tradition and the gentle support of the piano, we have tried to present this beautiful composition as a small musical prayer to Lord Shiva. May this rendition bring peace, devotion, and positive energy to all who listen.
