A Boeing 747 Mega mix with my favorite Boeing 747 moments of year 2024. As some of you may know the B747 is my favorite aircraft and I was able to film lots of 747` s in year 2024. The biggest highlight for me personally was that I was able to film four different B747-200 Classics!. There are just a few of them left in operation worldwide and somehow the operators Geo Sky and Fly Pro sent four different classic Jumbo Jets to Liege Airport in belgium in 2024. The gerogian airline Geo Sky operates two B747-200F and I was able to film 4L-GEO in January 2024. In the meantime 4L-GEO is stored at Tiflis since February 2024 minus two engines. It` s sistership 4L-GEN is still flying but they recently added two B767-300 to their fleet and I am afreight they could retire the second B747-200 soon.
The second B747-200 operateor which visited Liege is Fly Pro, a moldavian airline with an operational base at Sharjah right next to Dubai. ER-BAT and ER-BAR vistied Liege multiple times and I had lots of fun filming these two jets during perfect weather conditions.
Besides the classics I also filmed several interesting Boeing 747-8F and B747-400s. It was a great year and I am very happy that the B747 is still quite acitve in the world.
