THIS VIDEO:
When we were looking for a boat, we wanted a family boat to visit the San Juan Islands and our local lakes. That was quickly colored by a curiosity and desire to keep exploring the huge expanse of natural beauty farther north. Now we are left to wonder if Emerson can handle weeks-long cruising between Seattle and Alaska without turning it into an endurance feat for us. Going forward, we envision a mix of marinas, state and provincial parks with mooring balls, and of course remote anchorages. The farther north (and interestingly) east one travels, the more remote it gets.
There are many considerations and this year we will test our assumptions and confirm Emerson’s capabilities.
