Sometimes you just need to get out of the city. No plan, no itinerary — just throw some gear in the truck and go.
My girlfriend and I (Twin A) headed out to Nehalem Bay State Park for a quiet night on the Oregon Coast. We set up camp in the truck bed, cooked some good food, walked the beach, and even took the truck for a cruise on the sand. Nothing fancy. Just a really good evening outdoors.
It's easy to forget how much a single night outside can reset you — fresh ocean air, the sound of waves, no notifications that actually matter. If you've never camped on the Oregon Coast, Nehalem Bay is a pretty special place to start.
Sometimes the simple trips are the best ones.
