Rise and Raise are two verbs that are frequently confused in English language because they are similar in meanings, pronunciation and spelling.
Rise means to get up. It is an intransitive verb which means it does not need an object to complete its meaning,
Raise means to lift. It is a transitive verb. That means, it needs an object to complete its meaning.
The verb forms of RISE are: rise, rose, risen, rising
The verb forms of RAISE are: raise, raised, raised, raising
