Recently we visited Ranchi to meet our families and since we were there we decided to spend some time exploring Ranchi so first we decided to visit Bhagwan Birsa Biological Park commonly known as Ormanjhi Zoo. This Zoo is located around 35KM away from city centre. Since the connectivity in Ranchi is very good, we reached the Zoo in under an hour.
The Ticket prices here are average so you will find many families or friend groups having picnic here at Zoo daily. Also the Zoo is very big and it will take easily 3-4 hrs to cover it barefoot hence they also provide the option of Electric Vehicle which I feel is a very good initiative for Elders who cannot walk for 3-4 hrs or having some kind of health issues.
Overall the Zoo is very good they have varieties of animals and birds to see and enhance our general knowledge also its a great picnic spot as its very big and no one can walk continuously for 3-4 hrs so people tend to come here with food and spend some quality time with their family, friends along with animals and birds.
