“Being the first yacht hauled in the new mega lift was exciting for all to see including me. The professionalism of management and frontline workers at Derecktor Ft. Pierce was exceptional – there was nothing they wouldn’t do to assist us and were eager to make sure we had everything we needed. The workmanship was excellent, and the communication was superior! There was never a time during our stay I wasn’t updated consistently by the yard foreman on timelines and work completed. The prices were fair, and they always looked for what was right for our yacht. Fort Pierce Inlet is deep (25’ at MLW), wide, well-marked, and a straight shot to the shipyard. The many restaurants, tiki bars, and beaches are walking distance and the crew walked away with nothing but positive memories. We look forward to returning to DFP after our Mediterranean trip next summer for some much-needed paint work.”
