There are five types of alignments in the game (six if you include the conscript/unaligned one):
Conscript (current alignment)
Imperial
Imperial-Renaissance
Renaissance
Pagan
Pagan-Renaissance
At the beginning, you control Young Artos and a group of eight mercenaries to protect the village and civilians from Barbarians' attacks while your goal is to collect 500 Food and 500 Materials because Winter is approaching. No matter if you suceed or no, it doesn't matter because an army will emerge from the valley south of the village. Evil Bishop Lothar will be confronted by Amalric (Artos's Father) but he will go down pretty quick during his discussion with the fellow one. His last words to Artos are to flee to the docks while the Imperial army is destroying the city and killing all the habitants.
Warrior Kings is a real-time strategy video game, developed by Black Cactus and published by Microïds in 2002.
