Three nights on Isle of Arran and two nights at Portavadie in 'Angus'.
We drove from Dunfermline to Troon the night before the ferry and stayed on a Camping and Caravan CL Site. We had no electric hook up but plenty of power in the leisure batteries.
In the morning we drove the short distance to the Ferry Terminal at Ardrossan to get the ferry to the Isle of Arran where we toured the island including visited Brodick, Blackwater Foot and Lochranza.
We stayed at the Campervan/Motorhome pitches at Lochranza and saw so much wildlife on this trip.
I also hiked up Goatfell (The highest Point on the Island) which is a Corbett.
We will definately travel to Arran again to explore more of the North of the Island (Lochranza) as there were lots of trails and places of interest that we did not have time to explore.
