The ATAL Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Modeling and simulation of composite materials: fabrication, characterization and applications” was organized from February 9 to 14, 2026, by Department of Mechanical Engineering, Elitte College of Engineering. This Faculty Development Programme (FDP) was designed to disseminate cutting-edge
knowledge in the field of composite materials to faculty members, research scholars, and industry professionals. It provided a valuable platform for participants to engage with eminent experts from premier institutions, leading R&D organizations and internationally acclaimed researchers.
The FDP began with the Inaugural Session, setting the tone for the six-day event. Chief Patrons (Dr. Bazlul Haque & Mr. Sajal Ghosh), Patrons (Prof. Dr. Krishna Hazra & Prof. Dr. U C Kumar) expressed their best wishes for this AICTE-ATAL Faculty Development Program (FDP) and highlighted the importance of this of FDP for professional development, innovation, networking & academic growth. Coordinator (Dr. Animesh Talapatra) & Co-coordinator (Dr. Rakesh Kumar) welcomed to all distinguished resource persons and enthusiastic participants & highlighted the vision, strategies & perspectives of this FDP that how this FDP may empower us all with the latest skills and knowledge. Mrs. Mahuya G. Dutta acted as an anchor for this FDP.
