Описание: This talk was given at the CCPBioSim and CCP-QC joint industry talk on 19 October 2023. The speaker is Sabrina Maniscalo from Algorithmiq. The presentation will introduce for a general audience Quantum Computing for the life sciences, and the vision and research at the company Algorithmiq. The intention is to introduce this field to a non-expert audience, while examples of potential applications should also be of interest to scientists involved in quantum computing. The subject will be approached from the point of view of the startup Algorithmiq, with a perspective on the industry business model and investment case. Selected scientific aspects will be discussed.
