We sometimes assume we need to understand something, accumulate insight, or maintain practices. But then elsewhere—especially in contemporary nondual sources—we hear that the teachings are not teachings, that whatever is being discussed exists outside the realm of knowledge.
But what does that even mean? How can anything be discussed or learned beneath the layer of concepts?
I'm using an analogy here to point at how this might work. Not as a scientific claim, but as a way of exploring what's actually happening when something shifts without effort or understanding.
