Описание: @BMDPortraits shares a drawing experiment on using clear textured gesso on cheap vellum paper to give it a textured surface that may be more suitable to colored pencil drawings. We all know that cheap vellum papers have no tooth or textures and are too smooth to capture the pigments of colored pencils. Therefore this technique might help make better textured surface or papers to be used by colored pencil artists and beginners who do not afford artist quality textured vellum papers that can cost a fortune. The paper that I use here is the Elite Vellum paper or board 180 gsm and I will test it using of the most popular colored pencil brands in the Philippines, Faber Castell Classic colored pencil, Brutfuner oily colored pencil and prismacolor premier colored pencil and of course the star of the show the Mont Marte Clear Texture Gesso.
