During the Q/A Session, innovators had the chance to get all their questions about this challenge answered, find out more about the Thinking Critical South Australia Initiative, including key dates, submission process and what’s in scope for this opportunity and talk to the Representatives from the Department for Energy and Mining, South Australia about how their business and ideas could deliver value to the critical minerals sector of South Australia.

Here’s some of the key questions answered during the Q/A:

When will the judges be known?
Where is the office space envisaged for the winners?
Is there a connection to the Tonsley facility?
What is the process after the initial judging? Is there a further round of more detailed applications, presentations, etc prior to a second round of judging?
Would an enhanced energy solution to support critical minerals processing (and all other industrial applications) be an appropriate offering?
Are the winners expected to work in some sort of collaborative capacity during the process or ongoing?
If we have several projects, is there a way to present several applications to the same challenge at once ?
If a company has two (or more) potential projects which are interlinked, do you make one or two applications?
Could you explain the 'unique to SA' comment further please? If the concept is widely applicable, is a first launch in SA valuable?
Do you want to have feasible financial plans, investor pitch presentations etc, provided together with an application?
